Memorable Inauguration of Dreamland Public School, Bassi Gujjran (Rupnagar) When Nature Seemed to Dance in the School Premises Education Builds Good Human Qualities – Baldev Batth "Education is great because it helps people develop good qualities. Baldev Singh Batth, a Canada-based educationist and social worker. He was speaking at the inauguration of the newly built Dreamland Public School, Bassi Gujjran (Rupnagar). The school, recognized by the Central Board of New Delhi, was constructed at a cost of crores of rupees. He expressed happiness that six years ago, he had started this project, and now seeing the beautiful new building made him feel proud. He and Smt. Resham Kaur unveiled the inauguration plaque together. The ceremony was filled with joy—drums were beating, people were clapping, and flower petals were being showered. It felt as if nature itself was celebrating. A grand procession, including S. Surjit Singh and Smt. Jaswinder Kaur (Canada), Dr. Kulwinder Singh Batth and Smt. Gurjeet Kaur Batth (USA), and S. Jarnail Singh Batth and Smt. Narinder Kaur (England), reached the school gate, where the staff welcomed them warmly. During the main ceremony, time seemed to stop for a moment. The building was filled with music, and flowers rained down from the rooftop. Swarn Singh Bhangu, the school director, explained why they decided to build this new school and thanked supporters from India and abroad for their help in making it possible. Principal Navpreet Kaur shared a report about the school’s progress and future plans. Students and guests were honored, and there were wonderful performances. Many well-known people were present, including actors Gurpreet Bhangu and Malkeet Rauni, Principal Amandeep Kaur, Chaudhary Tirath Ram, Amandeep Singh Mangat, Kulwinder Singh, Beant Kaur, Jasvir Singh Gill, Smt.
