On this land of the village BassiGujjran (Rupnagar),a school named S. Gurdev Singh Kang Memorial Rural institute for Career Courses has been running since 1999.Many students have become doctors,engineers, pilots,financiers,judges etc.After studying from this institution,many students have gone abroad after obtaining higher degrees. It was a matter of that time,before today,when students used to decide pursue higher education in punjab.The bad part of Punjab is that the wrong political system has killed the dreams of the youth of punjab.Since the last decade,the trend of most students of punjab has been to go abroad after doing +2 only after IELTS.Due to this trend ,there is a perception among parents that CBSE board educated students get priority in going abroad.Due to this perception management committee decided to run this new `Dreamland Public School '.
The task is not easy, tedious paperwork and expensive.So far the associates of the management committee have spent about 1 crore rupees on this ,more expenditure is in progress.
We all want the education of this new school to be of high quality,the students and staff members of this school to be healthy and everyone to have success.
Belonging to the Sikh heritage, at village Bassi Gujjran in the area of Sri Chamkaur Sahib (Rupnagar), Malwa Rural Educational Society )Regd.) Sri Chamkaur Sahib started educational services with dedication and selflessness since 1997 As a next step, we have now established 'Dreamland Public School' under Central Board of Education New Delhi. At a cost of crores of rupees, a new building has been constructed for this school. Completing the complicated process of establishment and affiliation, the school has now received recognition through No. 1631514, Amongst the sympathizers/well-wishers of this organization based in the country/abroad, the able-bodied have and are giving generous support in the form of donations and repayable deposits for the said works. The management committee will always be indebted to these benefactors. Eligible staff are given priority in this school. The magnificent building has computer lab, science lab, library and other facilities. Strict attention is given to discipline and cleanliness. As a compliment, a humanistic approach is adopted to the overall management and every effort is made to teach life skills to the students along with education. I want this organization to always reach heights.
